PWAS Meetings
Join us on the third Wednesday of the month, February-June and September-November, for an evening of fun, learning and fellowship.
Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Canterbury Woods Community Center, 12184 Chaucer Lane in Lake Ridge, Virginia. Additional driving directions are available on our Contact page.
Each month we feature a demonstration, lecture or other activity which promotes the creation, understanding and enjoyment of the visual fine arts. Meetings are free and open to the public.
The PWAS President's Comments:
This year, as in past years, we hired a strolling musician to get us in the spirit of the holiday season. The food was great and everyone had a fun time opening their presents. It’s events like this that gives PWAS members a warm feeling in their hearts that can carry them throughout the year.
I am not going to badger you about running for office. If someone wants to step up and run for one of the two positions we have available, Vice-President and Treasurer, they will. PWAS will continue to offer events for members to show and sell their art, and our meetings will always be fun times to meet and greet and learn from one of our guest artists.
I look forward to seeing all of you when we restart our monthly meetings in February. Until then, I hope you have a safe and Happy New Year.
Thank you
James Gallagher
