Madelyn C. Winslow
Madelyn has been painting and drawing since childhood. She received an AA
in Fine Art, Summa cum Laude from NVCC. She has also studied painting at the Art
League in Alexandria, Virginia and with a Japanese master oil painter while
living in Japan. She has been involved as a substitute art teacher in local
schools and utilized her knowledge tutoring drawing and Art History at NVCC. She
has also conducted the Christ Academy Art Club at her church, Christ
Chapel. Madelyn continues to attend workshops to hone her skills. Active for
over 20 years in the Prince William Art Society, she is currently publicity
chairperson. Madelyn is a representational artist and works with oils, colored
pencils and acrylics. Her subjects include lighthouses, flowers, pet portraits
